Technological Analysis of Wireless Detector


 

Unique Wireless Dual Technology
Meian FOCUS wireless detectors use the detection mode of the combination of infrared and microwave, i.e. well-known dual technology. The microwave detection mode of the dual-technology detector is as follows: According to the Doppler Principle in physics, microwave sends at a frequency; when there is any moving object in its coverage range, microwave reflects at another frequency. Therefore, there is a frequency difference between the sending frequency and the reflection frequency. One's volume and moving speed can be gotten according to the detected variation. In combination with the infrared detected signals, the detector then performs operation processing of both triggering signals through the internal CPU chip, comprehensively analyzes relevant characteristics of the signals, and finally judges whether there is any invader in the visual area.

 

Microwave Time Division Emission
When two detectors are simultaneously started up, there is a difference between microwave emission time. This offsets the same frequency interference and thoroughly changes the phenomenon that two dual-technology detectors cannot be installed in the same room. Four FOCUS infrared and microwave dual-technology detectors can be installed in the same space.

 

Random Dynamic Time Division Processing
At least two pyroelectric body infrared sensors detect weak infrared signals in a detection area, randomly sample infrared signals of each second in a cycle of at least two seconds, save in RAM the digital signals corresponding to the infrared signals of this cycle, and get the infrared radiation frequency of an object per second in a cycle. The infrared radiation frequency data per second in a cycle in RAM is then compared with the body infrared characteristic frequency stored in ROM. If the detected frequency range is 6~12Hz, the system judges an activity as a pet activity and does not generate an alarm. If the detected frequency range is 0~5Hz, the system generates an alarm.


 


 

Energy Accumulation Logic Processing
At least two pyroelectric body infrared sensors (one high and one low) detect weak infrared signals and store in RAM the digital signals corresponding to the infrared signals of each second. The system judges whether digital signals in each second in RAM are identical. If they are different, the system judges an activity as a pet activity and does not generate an alarm. If they are identical, the system performs addition operation of these digital signal data stored in RAM and judges whether the results of the addition operation are within the corresponding body infrared characteristic data range in ROM. If yes, the system generates an alarm. If no, the system does not generate an alarm.

Ultra-Low Power Consumption Design
The design uses a micro-power consumption technology. FOCUS wireless dual element infrared detectors have a static current of 9uA and an alarm current of 10uA. Dual-technology infrared detectors with microwave have an operating current of 20uA and an alarm current of 15mA. If two high-performance batteries are used, the service life is up to 36 and 18 months for dual element detectors and dual-technology detectors respectively. In the case of weak current, detectors can also operate for 3 months, thus saving costs for users.


 

Technological Analysis of Wired Detector


 

Anti-Camouflage
When a detector is set to the anti-camouflage mode, CPU makes a digital analysis of a very weak infrared signal.If this signal is analyzed to be a signal resulting from an invader using a UV umbrella or other objects to shelter the body, CPU will immediately activate microwave detection to make a digital logic analysis of the signal resulting from the invader’s move. If the signal is analyzed to be a signal resulting from an invader, an alarm is generated. If the signal is a false alarm signal resulting from tree swinging or other objects

Automatic Temperature Compensation
When temperature is changed, the gravity of the positive and negative charges in the crystal structure of the infrared sensor relatively displaces and spontaneous polarization is changed. However, the sensitivity of the sensor varies with ambient temperature. The temperature compensation technology derives from the heat-sensitive sensor detecting the ambient temperature and sending it to the CPU microprocessor where it is regarded as a compensation signal by an infrared signal. This enhances the detector sensitivity and reliability.


 


 

To strengthen the detection ability, detectors use the method that voltage drifts with temperature. The temperature compensation technology analyzes the amplitude, phase and frequency of received signals through a built-in CPU microprocessor. Features such as adjustable microwave range, low current and 
microwave monitoring further enhance the reliability of FOCUS detectors. The pet immunity function design only makes a quick response to an invader's body, and does not generate a false alarm for pets with a weight of less than 45kg.

Four-Source Infrared Reversed Polarity Detection
Two built-in infrared inductors are provided in the detector. Movable signals enable two inductors to generate two signals with reversed polarity; unmovable signals (RF, electromagnetism, sparkle, static and other interferences) enable two inductors to generate two signals with the same polarity. Movable and unmovable signals can be correctly distinguished according to this principle. The anti-interference ability 
obtained from this technology is far better than that of the traditional filtering and shielding technology. It has an outstanding ability to prevent small animals. 


 


 

Automatic Pulses Adjustment
All FOCUS detectors have this advanced function. “Automatic pulses adjustment” can detect the size of the energy of every infrared signal and then store data in the memory. Detectors can automatically change an operating mode according to the energy level in the memory. When energy level is high (the possibility of false alarm is low at the moment), the low pulses mode is used and the functions are the same as those of typical non-pulses adjustment detectors. When energy level is low (the possibility of false alarm is high), the high pulses mode is used (up to 25 pulses), which effectively prevents any false alarm. Therefore, this function can effectively prevent any false alarm without reduction of sensitivity.

 




 

 

Technological Analysis of Wired Alarm Control panel


 

MA-II Bus 2G Technology:
t uses a world-leading bus defense area coding technology, mostly the randomly bar code technology, thus effectively avoiding the problems that are difficult to solve for similar systems. Its special performance such as multithreading, loop-back detection, signal reflection elimination and signal attenuation strengthening has been enhanced. It is characterized by multiple nodes, long distance and high receiving sensitivity. A transmission distance of 1.2KM and data frame detection enable better transmission quality if the basic data load is ensured. POWER-II 2G series FC-7668, FC-7448 and FC-7664 are representative.

CAN-BUS Bus Technology:
CAN (Controller Area Network) is an effective serial communication network that supports distributed control and real-time control. Due to its high performance, high availability and unique design, it enables area machines to achieve resource sharing and joint defense control through information interaction. Bus nodes can be plugged and played and thus the system has excellent expansibility. In addition, adding or deleting any node other than the concentrator on the bus does not affect other nodes. The large intelligent bus of the POWER-II 2G series FC-8000 system is representative.

POWER-II 2G Alarm Control Technology:
Burglar-alarm control uses the design mode of industrial alarm dedicated products as well as a 16-bit high-speed singlechip and an embedded design system. Therefore, the system is stable and reliable. PSTN/GSM/TCP/IP alarm modes and a remote recovery alarm system are added on the basis of the traditional design. In addition, it can use the Meian free remote service platform (TCP/IP network transmission) to alarm networking control.   Self-check function of detectors and alarm control panel, the detectors will send signal to control panel automatically, hence the panel will check the status of detectors, avoid detectors loss; the control panel will send signal to FOCUS alarm platform timing, the platform will check if the control panel is off or loss, to remind  the user reset CMS number or make the control panel in position. Enhance security of alarm system.

Wireless transmit alarm function

  If the telephone line is cut, the control panel will send alarm signal and forwarded to the same type neighboring control panel (within 200m). the neighboring control panel  will dial or send alarm signal via TCP/IP to FOCUS alarm platform after it receiving the alarm information. Including: forward alarm user code, Zone No. Zone alarm type etc. To increase the reliability of alarm.


 

Technological Analysis of Beams


 

Digital Intelligent Frequency Conversion
Each transmitter uses different transmitting frequency to make adjustments by using digital circuit and modulation-demodulation technologies. DSP chip programming is adopted. Receiving at the same frequency is performed between transmitting and receiving. This can reduce the same frequency interference, the different-frequency light interference and the possibility of false alarm, thus effectively protecting this area.

Intelligent Power Emission
The receiver sends light intensity requirements to the transmitter according to the on-site circumstances and adjusts the light projector to an appropriate infrared emission power according to its requirements to ensure normal operation of the system. On one hand, this can ensure the service life of the product. On the other hand, increasing the transmitting power in raining and snowing weather can ensure emission stability and prevent any false alarm.

Long-Life Infrared Emission
All FOCUS perimeter infrared emissions use metal infrared emission tubes. This increases the service life of metal infrared emission tubes from 12,000 h of ordinary plastic infrared emission tubes to 50,000 h while the emission current is only 20% of the normal transmitting current, thus increasing the service life of emission tubes greatly.

CRC Data Check
FOCUS perimeter infrared emission alarm transmission data uses CRC (Cyclic Redundancy Checksum). That is, it is a method that uses a binary polynomial division to get a data checksum. Alarm transmission data are cyclically checked to ensure alarm effectiveness and reduce any false alarm.

Intelligent Bus
Intelligent 485 bus. Emission uses cascade connection. Only the power cord and two communication buses are needed during the bus emission installation (only the power cord is needed during the wireless installation), thus effectively reducing about 30% of the wire and labor costs.

Code Stored in E2 ROM
FOCUS bus emission presets initial values of shift counters and shift registers in the main program. Whether the shift is finished is judged at one point of a subprogram; a password is read or the number of passwords to be cracked is written at another point of the subprogram; deciphering data are judged or taken at another sub program to prevent tracking and ensure transmission security and cracking difficulty of emission codes.

Bus Decoder
The operating status can be sent in real time to the decoder during the operating status of intelligent bus emission. The decoder analyzes the bus address, alarm and tamper information, and displays in real time the detector signal intensity, transmitting power and status such as antifogging ON or OFF. This facilitates commissioning and subsequent maintenance.
